Warm Spiced-Apple Punch

Makes 6 large mugs or approx 20 warm shot cups

2 litres of apple juice
½ litre water
a thumb-sized of fresh ginger
3 slices of lemon
3 slices of orange
3 cloves or a pinch of clove powder
1 stick of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of brown sugar or honey


1. - Put all the ingredients except the sugar/honey into a large pan

2. - Simmer gently until warmed through and the flavours are infused (about 20 minutes)

3. - Add sugar or honey if needed

4. - Serve in mugs and enjoy!
